Yep, the dynamic between the characters is still totally fantastic, as evidenced by this scene where Rocket asks for some tape to cover up the "death button" on the atomic bomb, to which Star-Lord replies, "You have an atomic bomb in your bag. If anyone's gonna have tape, it's you."

Considering that the first film succeeded largely on the strength of its personality rather than its plot, it makes a lot of sense that the sequel seems to be doubling down on the outrageous chit-chat (and as for the plot, we'll have to wait and see).
