A frequent complaint of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies is that they're visually flat and uninteresting, largely required to adhere to a rather dull house style to make the films stylistically consistent.
However, the first Guardians was an exception, with its gorgeous visual effects and sharp cinematography, and it looks like Vol. 2 is going to totally follow suit.
The quality of the effects and the general framing of the shots puts this leagues ahead of almost anything else in the MCU to date, with its only real competition being the first Guardians and the wonderfully trippy Doctor Strange.
