Is that the best Marvel Studios logo or what? While it remains to be seen whether or not it'll actually end up in the final movie (fingers crossed), the mere logo itself further emphasises just how independent-minded and totally different the Guardians movies are to the rest of the MCU.

It's damn trippy (possibly a good argument for seeing the movie in 3D?), and further suggests the movie might best be enjoyed with a little pre-game herb smoke, if you catch our drift.
