4. Drax

Why He Might Die

Drax is as close to the MCU's version of Maximus Decimus Meridius. He's the husband to a murdered wife, the father to a murdered child and he will have his revenge. Well, he won't really, because the killer has now been vanquished, but he at least helped.

Still, that backstory still makes it feel like the end of Drax's story will see him joining his family in the afterlife and letting the berserker rage that defines him go. There are rumours that his daughter, Moondragon, might appear in Vol 3, which might seem to save him from that fate, but imagine how hard killing him would land if he was able to give up his life to save his daughter after failing to do so once...

Why He Could Survive

It would also be equally fitting for Drax to be able to live in happiness with his newly discovered daughter as well, which might be what saves him. Drax is likely to find peace one way or another and it probably just depends on how harsh Gunn was feeling when he wrote that part of the script.

It's unlikely Dave Bautista will continue as Drax either way, but that doesn't necessarily doom him.
