3. Cappy - Robots (2005)
Robots isn't necessarily a bad film, it's just not a particularly good one in this animated flick that tries to emulate the sense of anthropomorphism used in Disney and Pixar films - Ewan McGregor plays a young eager robot engineer (both a robot and a robot engineer that is to say) who takes on a big bad corporation with the help of misfit junkyard pals. Berry plays obligatory love interest Cappy and while the film itself is glossy and well produced, the lack of character development makes Berry's Cappy come across as a barely-involved automaton who spouts the same messages without much meaning or presence behind them. Not disastrous but certainly disappointing.
