2. Kate Mathieson - Dark Tide (2012)
The shark film that no one asked for or wanted,
Dark Tide is a straight-to-DVD stinker that seems to think that by throwing the word 'shark' in every thirty seconds, it can somehow overcome the fact that it isn't very good at all. Berry plays a shark expert who can't get back in the water following an attack which killed a diver under her watch... that is until a big load of money comes along from a plan of her ex-husband's. The poster alone summarises the film perfectly - Berry's a bikini, there's a shark's fin cresting a wave and neither Berry nor romantic lead Olivier Martinez look thrilled to be there. That's what I suspect everyone's faces resembled during shooting, to be honest - it's an example of a phoned-in performance courtesy of everyone on board and Berry is the worst one here, a wooden performance not quite masking the boredom she's exuding from having to star in this tripe.
