7. Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate
The House:
An old Universal attraction is making a come back to the event. Based on the now closed Universal Islands of Adventure attraction, this house sees you go into a battle between two powerful warlocks that Merlin turned into dragons. You'll find yourself in the middle of a raging battle, will you choose the correct path?
The Hype:
It's a great idea of Universal to find a way to bring back an old favourite attraction at a Halloween Horror Nights event. This house has a complex backstory that many casual guests won't be aware, but we don't think that will make a huge amount of difference as to whether the maze will be good. Universal have practice of creating great things that work for every fan; whether they are new to a property or an an über fan.
Although we think this will be a beautiful maze with great sets, ultimately the fantasy element appeals to us a little less than the rest of the houses on the list.
