Regardless of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw, muggle born or pure blood, there are no witches or wizards that can hold a candle to the great Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore. Without exception, he is considered by his peers, his enemies, his students, and the makers of his chocolate frog card to be one of the greatest wizards of all time.

Though he had a tough start to life, with his father being sent to Azkaban for killing three muggle boys, he prospered as soon as he got to Hogwarts. Throughout his years at school he earned every honour available, before working his way up through the faculty ranks and becoming the Headmaster.

His time in charge of Hogwarts earned him the reputation of being the greatest ever, but it was how he handled the threats of Gellert Grindelwald and Lord Voldemort that were his crowning achievements. So strong and powerful a wizard was he, that he was the only one the Dark Lord feared to face.

Dumbledore however, was as wise as he was powerful, and realised that he could achieve as much with words as he could with his wand. He was a leader, a mentor, and even sacrificed himself for the good of all wizard kind.
