8. A Way To Introduce New Characters And Open New Doors
A Quidditch movie could explore magical schools in other countries. From Goblet of Fire, we know they exist and are very unique in themselves, shown by the students we met from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang
. This would open new avenues to explore with the introduction of new characters and new places. It would be fun for the production design and special effects teams and, potentially, give rise to spin-off's or sequels. Or, have another International World Cup, but this time, show the build-up, the play-off's, and the behind the scenes drama that always goes on in top sporting events. Do they take magical athletic enhancement drugs? Who's cheating and what lengths will they go to stop being caught? Who are the real men behind the polished images? It could even be a serious drama on the dark side of sports and a cautionary tale of what not to do...
