4. Voldemort's Long Lost Daughter Showed Up
If you thought Salazar Slytherin had no living heir following the demise of Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child proved you dead wrong.
The play's villain turns out to be a young girl named Delphini, the long lost daughter of Tom Riddle and Bellatrix Lestrange.
She's masquerading as the niece of an aged Amos Diggory - who lost his son Cedric during the events of the fourth Harry Potter book and movie - when the audience first meets her. It's actually Delphini who convinces Albus and Scorpius to tinker with time, urging them to travel back and retrospectively save Cedric's life.
One big reveal later, and Delphini turns out to be the show's big bad, and she's attempting to fulfil a prophesy that will result in the return of her father, Voldermort.
