Harrys Aunt Petunia is a nosy woman, always gossiping to her husband about Mrs. Next Doors problems, or peering into the neighbors garden in the hopes of catching Sirius Black. Her distaste for the magical world is what keeps her from talking about it openly, as she angrily recounts for Harry when finally telling him the truth about his mother, Lily. However, it appeared that their parents didnt share her distaste, as she said, But for my mother and father, oh no, it was Lily this and Lily that, they were proud of having a witch in the family. If they were so proud, what kept them from telling their friends and neighbors about Lily and her status? What kept Hermiones parents from doing the same? What did they say when friends and family asked them where their children were during the school year?
