Harry Potter: 10 Worst Things Hermione Has Ever Done

Due to the lacklustre teaching methods of Professor Umbridge, Harry steps in and helps his fellow students master defensive spells in the Room of Requirement.

The trouble is that this secret gang – more commonly known as ‘Dumbledore’s Army’ – isn’t allowed under Umbridge’s new regime. Marietta Edgecombe – a Ravenclaw student – grasses on the others, and before long, Dumbledore’s Army has been compromised by Umbridge and the Inquisitorial Squad.

But unbeknown to the rest of the group, Hermione put a jinx on the list of members. So, when Marietta betrays the others, she ends up with a face full of nasty pimples. Whilst this may seem like a reasonable punishment, the pimples become a permanent feature of Marietta’s complexion.

Madame Pomfrey does her best to remove them, but she’s unable to undo Hermione’s jinx. As such, poor Marietta has to learn to live with these pimples for the rest of her life.
