Harry Potter: 15 Spells Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

All of the spells and incantations on this list are widely known by witches and wizards alike, but the elusive and dangerous Sectumsempra Curse is much less known.

Created by Severus Snape under the ominous moniker the Half-Blood Prince whilst studying at Hogwarts, the curse causes lacerations across the body of its target, leading them to often bleed-out from their injuries.

Snape was the only wizard known to have used it, so much so that it became known as his specialty. It was later found in Snape's old textbook by Harry, who used it against Draco during a duel. Harry was shocked by its results, and Draco was eventually saved by Snape, forced to confront the fact that someone else had learned his deadly spell.

The Sectumsempra Curse is a hedious piece of work, and best avoided - especially if you're not sure what you're getting yourself into, like Harry.
