Harry Potter: 15 Spells Ranked From Weakest To Strongest
14. The Summoning Charm (Accio)
Accio, like Lumos, is another one of those handy charms that can get a witch or wizard out of trouble in a second's notice.
Sometimes cast nonverbally by particularly seasoned spellcasters, the Summoning Charm allows you to summon an object to yourself without moving. Harry himself uses the spell to great effect in The Goblet of Fire, where he's trapped by Voldemort but is able to get his hands on the film's secret portkey and escape with the body of Cedric Diggory.
It has its drawbacks, considering the object you're summoning often has to be in your line of sight and it can be easily blocked, but as far as simple charms go, Accio is still one of the most cunning on offer.
