6. Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley is an incredibly important character in the Harry Potter saga, both to the overall narrative and to Harry himself. Acting as one of the main character's sidekicks, Ron was integral in aspects of the story like making it to the Philosopher's Stone, and finding and destroying the Horcruxes.

However, during his time as part of Dumbledore's army in his fifth year at Hogwarts, he actually did very little. The majority of the movie saw him making quippy remarks and standing by Harry's side, but he rarely actually added anything of value to the team.

That's not to say he did absolutely nothing though. He was present for the Battle at the Department of Mysteries, and though he didn't do anything particularly of note, he still risked his life to be by Harry's side.

His biggest contribution to the good of the team was his plan to escape from Umbridge's office with Luna, Ginny, and Neville. Using his brothers' Puking Pastilles, Ron was able to make the Inquisitorial Squad sick and incapable of holding them any longer. If not for this, Harry and Hermione would have been on their own at the Ministry when the Death Eaters attacked.
