Harry Potter: Every Order Of The Phoenix Member Ranked

Nymphadora Tonks, an Auror at the Ministry of Magic, was first introduced to Harry Potter at Privet Drive. After Uncle Vernon imprisoned his nephew, Tonks was one of the Order that rescued him and brought him to their headquarters at Grimmauld Place.

While Harry was stuck in a whirlwind of confusion, with no one really telling him what was going on, Tonks put him at ease. Even though it was nothing more than a smile here and there, it reminded the boy that he was among friends, and that they were there for him.

On numerous occasions, Tonks risked her life for the Order. She guarded the Prophecy, she was part of the group that attacked the Death Eaters during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, and she selflessly chased after Harry and Ginny to protect them when Bellatrix and Fenrir Greyback attacked the Burrow.

After everything she went through for the Order, after all she gave in the war’s most important battles, Nymphadora ultimately gave her life at the hands of Bellatrix Lestange during the Battle of Hogwarts.
