Harry Potter: Fan-Casting The Inevitable Cursed Child Movie

6. Iwan Rheon As Draco Malfoy

Why He's Right For The Role

Iwan Rheon is best known for his turn as Ramsay in Game of Thrones; a slimy, despicable human being with that type of 'love-to-hate' appeal that Draco Malfoy carried in the main Potter saga.

But the Draco of Cursed Child is different. He's still got that repugnant edge, but he's also very friendly toward Harry at times, largely dismissing their childhood rivalry in order to focus on the bigger picture; saving Albus and Scorpius.

And, aside from his most famous, villainous role, Rheon has shown that compassionate side in shows like Skins and Our Girl, proving he can play a solid hero as well as a memorable baddie, and Draco needs a fine, albeit restrained, balance of the two.

Oh, and he rocks blonde hair like a boss.

Chances Of It Happening

Decent. Given he's no longer a part of Game of Thrones, his schedule is looking a lot clearer, and with two films on the horizon (Daisy Winters and Last) it looks like he's turning his attention to the movie industry.

There's almost no way he'd turn it down. A sizable role in Cursed Child would make his career, and he'd be following in the footsteps of other Game of Thrones stars who successfully jumped to the big-screen (Sophie Turner, Kit Harington).
