Ron helped Harry in the Battle of Hogwarts, and finally confessed his feelings for Hermione. We later find that the two are married and have children, the oldest of which Rose Weasley, who is going to her first year of Hogwarts with Harry and Ginny's son Albus. Ron was also the Godfather to Harry's eldest, James Sirius.

Like Harry, Ron never went back to Hogwarts, instead becoming an auror where he and Harry "revolutionised" the department. However, after two years Ron left the Ministry to help his brother, George, run Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Ron ended up having his own chocolate frog card, which he considered his greatest achievement.

Ron's love for cars carried over later on in life, although this time thinking it better to stick with wheels on the ground, he passed a muggle driving test by placing a confundus charm on the instructor.
