George Weasley suffered a great loss during the Battle of Hogwarts, not only having lost a brother, but his twin. Fred and George both helped during the Battle of Hogwarts, and after Fred died, George carried on fighting.

In the film, when Harry escapes after being presumed dead we see George turn to say his brother's name but realise no one is there, a small almost missable moment that painfully emphasises the bond they had.

George never got over Fred's death, eventually marrying Angelina Johnson and naming his first child after his late twin brother. The couple also had a daughter called Roxanne. George continued to run Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, and with the aid of Ron turned the business into a real money maker.
