7. Antonin Dolohov
Antonin Dolohov was one of Voldemort’s most dedicated and powerful servants. He was fond of torture and was also one of several Death Eaters who murdered the Prewitt brothers during the First Wizarding War.
He was arrested for his crimes just before Voldemort’s downfall and remained in Azkaban until the first mass breakout in 1996. Dolohov then participated in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries and managed to overcome Mad-Eye Moody in a duel. However, he stood no chance once Dumbledore turned up, and he was sent back to Azkaban soon after.
Following the breakout in the summer of 1997, Dolohov continued working for the Dark Lord. With the help of Thorfinn Rowle (another Death Eater), Dolohov tracked down Harry, Ron and Hermione in Tottenham Court Road and attempted to overpower them.
He then returned during the Battle of Hogwarts and was responsible for the death of Remus Lupin. Towards the end of the battle, however, he was taken down by the talented Charms Master – Professor Flitwick.
