It's not just Daimio who's got a brilliant actor behind him either - both Ian McShane and Milla Jovovich will partake in the project too.

McShane will play Professor Broom (brought to life first by the late John Hurt), and Jovovich will play Nimue herself, the Blood Queen. Add to that the aforementioned castings of David Harbour and Sasha Lane, and it's clear that the film is packing an impressive cast to portray an equally impressive set of characters.

McShane is always brilliant, and Jovovich - having led the Resident Evil franchise for over a decade now - has plenty of experience to make the role work. Harbour was a revelation for his part in Stranger Things, and while he's unproven in the role, one would expect him to match the authentic look he's rocking and give Perlman a good run for his money.

While it's unclear if we'll be getting anymore B.P.R.D. members to ogle at before filming starts, it's fair to say that the cast - in its current form at least - is brilliant, and more than capable of bringing to life Mignola's creations.
