The Hobbit: 10 Things You May Have Missed In The Battle Of The Five Armies

4. You Can Visit Stone Street

New Zealand tourism has been helped no end by Peter Jackson's Middle-Earth Saga, with 6% of total visits to the country reportedly down to a fascination with the movies. Normally the locations a Tolkien/Jackson fan would visit the likes of Mount Olympus (The Fellowship Of The Ring's double for Caradhras) and the meticulously constructed replica of Hobbiton, although there's more than just the iconic locales to check out, something the final film hints at with a very subtle easter egg. The Battle Of The Five Armies name-checks a less picturesque, but still series essential, location a die-hard The Lord Of The Rings fan would have to visit. When searching for his children in Dale, Bard is told they're on Stone Street, which just happens to be the name as the studios where all of the Middle-Earth movies were shot.
