2. Bilbo Finally Realises Why They Call Him Burglar

Burglar Again, if you've not read the books and you don't want the smallest inkling of what's about to occur, look away now. But it's not giving too much away to say that Bilbo finally works out that the dwarves are calling him Burglar for a reason and not just as a wacky, nonsensical nick-name. No, in fact, Bilbo's job is to head into Smaug's lair on his own to see if he can't nick something very important out from under the dragon's nose. There's even a teaser for this in the latest trailer €“ Thorin appears to be gently motivating Bilbo at sword-point to enter the Lonely Mountain and fulfil his quest. Given Martin Freeman's fantastic ability to act generally surprised, disgruntled and reluctant (in other words, British), I can't wait to see the moment of realisation for Bilbo as he finally understands his part in the dwarves' plan. Good thing he found that ring, eh? Although, we're guessing being invisible won't stop Bilbo from being incinerated. Which leads me nicely onto...
