1. That Musical Choice Though...

And finally, Universal needs to give a raise to whoever decided to score the trailer to War's 1975 pop classic "Why Can't We Be Friends?".

A perfect summation of the movie's begrudged buddy cop dynamic, it adds another easy laugh in a trailer that's already jam-packed with them.

It probably won't be used in the film itself, sadly, but it at least does a great job setting the mood and confirming the goofy bromantic tone Hobbs & Shaw is shooting for.

After opening the trailer with portentous opera music, it was the perfect shift. Good luck topping that musical choice in the next trailer, though.
