Hobbs & Shaw Trailer Reaction: 6 Ups & 3 Downs

2. The Insane Skyscraper Gag

The centre-piece of the trailer is an utterly bonkers sequence where Hobbs and the Shaw siblings are attacked by Brixton's men while inside their base of operations, which appears to be housed within a London skyscraper.

We see Brixton kidnap Hattie by leaping out of the skyscraper on bungee cords with her unconscious body in tow, after which he runs down the side of the skyscraper, while carrying Hattie no less, like it's a casual stroll in the park.

Hobbs then gives chase by sliding down one of the cords and free-jumping onto Brixton's goons, while Shaw uses a nearby elevator.

The funniest moment sees Hobbs crashing into Shaw's elevator while holding one of Brixton's stormtroopers, cracking the window on impact before he mouths a cheery, "F*** you!" at an impressed Shaw.

Bravo. Just bravo.
