8. Exam

Exam 2009

2009's psychological horror-thriller Exam follows eight people who are locked in a room as they take the final exam for a juicy corporate job.

The challenge, however, is that the exam paper doesn't have a question written on it, and the 80-minute clock is fast counting down.

Hilariously, after the characters rack their brains in vain trying to figure out the question, it's revealed that the only question was asked by the invigilator right at the start of the exam - "Any questions?"

The only person to deduce this was Blonde (Nathalie Cox), who promptly answers "No," causing her to become the successful candidate.

As for the job? She'll be the administrator for a pharma company that's recently discovered a miracle drug which can provide the gift of life.

With said drug being in high demand and low supply due to a raging pandemic, the administrator needs to be someone who has attention to detail and is compassionate but can still make tough decisions when required.

As Blonde demonstrated all these traits in spades, she gets the gig. Sure, there's still a pandemic to worry about, but the best person for the job ended up getting it, so that's neat.
