Sebastian Stan didn't get an iconic superhero costume until 2014's The Winter Soldier, his second movie in the MCU. However - based on his reaction to the first time wearing it - it sounds like it was worth the wait.

While he was initially nervous about what it might look like, Stan said that he was "very open" to adopting the Winter Soldier persona. He was excited about the huge transformation (mainly the long hair, which he'd never had before) saying that it was nice to not recognise himself when he looked in the mirror.

He also praised the costume department for successfully translating the Winter Soldier's comic-book look to the big screen in a "cool" way.

And as for the metal arm? Surprisingly, Stan doesn't think that it's a hinderance - in fact, he claims that it helps his performances.
