How Disney Should Make Indiana Jones 5
1. Give Indy The Sendoff He Deserves
Indiana Jones 5 should bring the series to a rounded, definitive conclusion.
As much as we hate banging on about Harrison Ford's age, surely he hasn't got a sixth, seventh or eighth Indy outing in him, no matter how much Disney's profit margins would appreciate them.
So there must be a degree of finality about the next sequel, and it has to give the character the sendoff he deserves and right the wrongs of Crystal Skull in the process.
And this means no leaving us with a cliffhanger or forced sequel setup. That magical scene at the end of The Last Crusade where a triumphant Indy rides off into the sunset? That's what the film has to top.
Director Steven Spielberg is well aware how the fans feel about Crystal Skull, so let's hope he realises the fifth adventure is Indy's final shot at redemption before the museum's relics section beckons.
