2. Bring Back John Rhys-Davies
John Rhys-Davies's Egyptian excavator Sallah is a fan-favourite Indy ally, and his return in the fifth instalment would make a nice call-back to the glory days.
That isn't to say they should bring Doctor Jones's jovial pal back for the sake of it, but surely the writers can come up with a meaningful way to incorporate him into the story.
Rhys-Davies might be difficult to pin down for anything more than a cameo, given his ongoing involvement in The Shannara Chronicles TV show, along with the countless project listed as 'in development' on his IMDB page.
But the fans would surely appreciate his presence in Indiana Jones 5 in any capacity, as long as it makes sense for the story.
