How Marvel Could Bring Netflix Heroes Into MCU Phase 4
6. Daredevil To Appear In Echo
When Hawkeye launched on Disney+ in November 2021, Marvel announced a spin-off series focusing on the character of Maya Lopez, otherwise known as Echo.
Introduced in Hawkeye as played by Alaqua Cox, it is also revealed that Echo is the niece of Kingpin. While Kingpin was wounded by Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye series finale, only a fool would think that the crime lord is gone for good.
Echo has the ability to perfectly mimic another person’s fighting style and movements, making her one heck of a formidable foe during battle. In the Marvel comic books, Echo has crossed paths with iconic characters such as Daredevil and Moon Knight.
It’s incredibly likely that Kingpin will be back to cause more problems for his niece in her spin-off series, and with that, perhaps a cameo from some of The Defenders. Maybe the TV series will echo (pardon the pun) the comic book series and have her face off against Daredevil. A battle between Marvel’s most prominent hearing and visual impaired heroes would make for a challenging but interesting on-screen battle.
