1. It's The Weakest Movie In The Trilogy

While everyone was hoping that The Hidden World would bring the franchise to a show-stopping close, the third film is unquestionably the weakest entry into the franchise by a fair stretch.

If the first film felt enormously fresh and charmed millions with its heartfelt, inclusive characters, the sequel then deepened their characterisation and delivered an unforgettable emotional wallop with the death of Hiccup's father Stoick (Gerard Butler).

And though The Hidden World doesn't want for charm or emotion, it all feels a little too derivative of what came before. There's precious little that's truly inventive or unique brought to the table this time, causing the end result to feel just a step or two behind its predecessors.

But make no mistake, this is a rock solid movie for the most part as long as you go in with appropriate expectations. And so, here's everything the threequel nails...
