Howard replaces Lohan in Teardrop Diamond

bryce_dallas_howard1_nb.jpgPoor Lindsay Lohan. She is the perfect example of what the pressures of being oh so famous at such a young age can do, as she is ruining her career by leaving film projects left right and center. She is clearly not a happy person at the moment. The latest film she has dropped out of is The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, which she was set to lead alongside co-stars Chris Evans, Ellen Burysten and David Strathairn for Indie debut helmer Jodie Markell. Production Weekly are reporting that Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing her in the movie. This comes just a month after Lohan dropped out of her role in A Woman of No Importance because in her publicists own words "she didn't want to push herself" after she underwent an appendectomy earlier this year. That's two massive roles in the last five weeks or so that she has dropped out of at a pivotal time in her career, when she is just phasing out the Herbie type movies of her past and growing into more mature roles like she had in Bobby. Whatever problems she has in her own personal life, she needs to get them sorted out and fast, otherwise directors will lose patience with her and she will drop down the hollywood ladder quicker than Kevin Costner in the late 90's. source - coming soon, production weekly
