6. The Usher Cameo

On a slightly smaller scale than the supporting cast, there's one incredible moment that really deserves some extra attention. At one point, during the heyday of the strip club - and just before the financial crash - the dancers are all incredibly excited to find out that Usher has turned up one night.

What follows is a glorious self-owning cameo by the musician, who enters to the sound of his own music and walks around lording it up, showering the room with dollar bills and getting a communal dance from every one of the dancers at once.

In the framework of the wrong tone, this would have looked like idol bragging, but there's enough humour elsewhere - like Annabelle's frequent stress-vomiting, Cardi B's delightfully outrageous soundbytes ("drain the clock not the !*$%") and the ridiculously terrible detectives to make it obvious this is a brilliant comic sequence.
