I want a Mach 5!

Now Speed Racer is like ballet dancing or white water rafting to me. I've never tried it... so I know very little about it. However, The Wachowski's gave us a film that none us will ever forget at the end of last century, so there first non-Matrix movie Speed Racer is very much on my radar. Above we have our first official look at the film, and it's a cool image of the Mach 5 car. Looks awesome. It kinda reminds me of the slick Tim Burton Batmobile. Apparently the car will mostly be shot whilst it's kept on a crane with the special effects guys doing heavy duty on the race scenes. The image comes from an article at USA Today. source - aicn
