Even though he's recently expressed an openness to returning to Harry Potter in the future, Daniel Radcliffe seems to have gone out of his way to put the shadow of the boy wizard as far behind him as possible. He's gone nude, he's done sex scenes and played a devil and he's been attracted to indie fare and oddities like Swiss Army Man over the past few years.
His quirky/Edgy career turn continues soon with the release of Imperium, in which he infiltrates a neo-Nazi white supremacy group and by the look of it is under constant suspicion for the entire time. The tale of the trailer is basically that he's a rat and everyone else knows it, but that's probably just for the sake of drama.

If you've seen Green Street, you'll already be familiar with the dynamic of a scrawny outsider infiltrating a group of thugs. In that case it was Elijah Wood, acting alongside a pre-good Charlie Hunnam, who had spent a grand total of about 12 minutes learning how to do a Cockney accent. Hopefully this is better than that was.
