Incredibles 2: 10 Things We Want To See

1. Just Some Fun With The Family

Ultimately, The Incredibles 2 should be fine as long as Bird learns the most important lesson from Tomorrowland - themes need to be kept in the background, and sometimes not even glimpsed. Tomorrowland never stops reminding you for an instant that THIS IS A MOVIE WITH IDEAS ABOUT THE FUTURE, at the expense of its characters, its world and its plot. The Incredibles is definitely about things - the ability to excel in a complicated world and the challenges of doing so while staying close to the people you love. But that's not what most people enjoy most about it. It's the film's many small pleasures, like watching Bob and Helen bicker about directions in the middle of a one-van car chase scene, that added up to its excellence.
