6. George Lucas Is On Board As Producer
3318Star Wars mastermind (or ruiner, depending on your point of view) George Lucas had a hand in shaping all four Indiana Jones movies as story creator, but he'll be taking a backseat this time around.
Although Steven Spielberg swears he will never make an Indy film without Lucas's involvement, Georgie Boy will merely act as executive producer on the project.
In layman's terms, this essentially means he stands to make a shedload of money from the movie for being attached to it in a vaguely defined capacity.
Fears Lucas will return to his tampering ways and attempt a creative hijack can be laid to rest, as screenwriter David Koepp told Collider: "I've had no contact with him".
