The heroes then manage to escape Voller's clutches with the help of some well-placed dynamite on Helena's part, and head to Sicily where the second half of the Dial can be found in Archimedes' tomb.

During this mission, young Teddy ends up being kidnapped by Voller's absolutely gigantic henchman Hauke (Olivier Richters), though in an unexpected twist of fate, Teddy manages to kill Hauke during the subsequent scuffle.

As Voller and co. attempt to take possession of the Dial's second half, Hauke and Teddy - who are handcuffed together after Teddy attempted to escape - fall into a body of water.

A quick-thinking Teddy, previously established to be a skilled pickpocket, then steals the handcuff key from Hauke, uncuffs himself, and then re-cuffs Hauke to a piece of metal underwater while fleeing with the key, leaving the big guy to drown.

As fun as it would've been to see a classic Indy vs. Mid-Boss showdown per the series' formula, would it have been in any way plausible for Indy to come out on top?

This was a relatively smart way to skirt around that and give Teddy something to do in the process.
