Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny: 22 WTF Moments

16. Indy Rides A Horse Through The Subway

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Harrison Ford

Voller's goons briefly capture Indy before he manages to escape into the Moon Day parade celebrating the return of the Apollo 11 astronauts, at which point Indy hijacks a police officer's horse and rides off.

Voller's right-hand man Klaber (Boyd Holbrook) then gives chase through the streets with a motorcycle, and things get really wild when Indy decides to take his horse down into the New York City subway system.

Here Indy ends up riding straight onto the train tracks, narrowly avoiding being creamed by an oncoming train, before hilariously leaving the horse on a train platform with a nearby passenger while telling them, "Hold my horse," and sneaking onto the next train.

It's all very True Lies, and one of the funner action beats in the movie, even with the slightly dodgy-looking VFX - especially of Ford's face crudely pasted onto the stuntman riding the horse.
