Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny: 22 WTF Moments

14. Indy Tells Sallah To Stay Home

With Indy being suspected of his colleagues' murder, his face is plastered all over the TV, and when he walks past a TV store, a civilian quickly notices who he is.

Just as the man is about to summon the authorities, however, he's knocked out by Sallah (John Rhys-Davies), who emerges totally out of nowhere, making his first appearance in the franchise since 1989's The Last Crusade.

The two have a neat little exchange, but as Indy prepares to fly to Tangier where he believes Helena - who stole the Dial from him - will try to sell it, Sallah hints that he's keen to join Indy for another adventure.

Despite Sallah mentioning that he brought his passport along, Indy hilariously tells him to stay home, and that his new mission "isn't an adventure", seconds before Indy is almost hit by a car while crossing the street.

This isn't the very last time we see Sallah in the movie, but it is a shame he doesn't stick around for longer.
