5. Is Mac Gargan Going To Become Scorpion?
The first trailer for Mobius spoiled the fact that Spider-Man: Homecoming's jailed villain The Vulture is going to come face to face with the Living Vampire, but what happened to Mac Gargan? After being badly injured by Spider-Man on that ferry, the criminal was desperate for revenge, and attempted to get the web-slinger's secret identity out of Adrian Toomes.
Well, like The Leader and Lady Sif, he's been missing in action since then, and it was strange to devote an entire post-credits scene to Mac Gargan if he was just going to end up disappearing into the ether.
Recently, Michael Mando (who played the villain) has been doing the rounds to promote Better Call Saul's latest season, and he's expressed an interest in reprising the role and suiting up as the Scorpion. Fans are on board with that, and unless his transformation into a supervillain is being saved for those SUMC spinoffs, Gargan will surely play a supporting role in Spider-Man 3.
Well, we certainly hope so anyway, as we're struggling to believe he's still stuck behind bars...
