The surviving Maximoff twin, Wanda’s always been more of a focal point in the Marvel Universe. Ever since she uttered those famous three words, “No more mutants,” she cemented her status as one of the most complex and conflicted Avengers ever.

Her volatile mix of near-godlike powers and inner turmoil undeniably make her a compelling character. And having to deal with her twin’s death will only add fuel to the already-volatile flame. In both comics and film, she's worked as a hero and a villain (though somewhat unconsciously) but having a wild-card like this on the roster makes the team very exciting. They’ll also need heavy hitters like her to stand up against Thanos.
