Inglourious Basterds: 10 Things That Would Have Happened Afterwards

1. In The Present, Those Involved With Operation Kino Are Some Of The Most Famous People In The World

Aldo Raine. Ed Fenech. Bridget Von Hammersmark. Shosanna Dreyfuss. Archie Hicox. Donny "The Bear Jew" Donowitz... It seems sensible to assume that there are few people living on planet Earth in the post-Inglourious Basterds present day who don't know the names of literally all the people involved with the killing of Adolf Hitler and the end of World War II. After the secret documents have been unveiled outlining Operation Kino and all its intricacies are made public, after all, the names of those who lived (and died) during the most daring World War II mission of all (also considered to be the most exciting) would likely enter the pop cultural lexicon to such an extent that there are few parallels. Every child, for example, would likely know the name "Ed Fenech" - the mastermind who cooked up Operation Kino using intelligence gained from Bridget Von Hammersmark (now considered to be one of the greatest and coolest heroines of all-time given her status as a double agent) and thought by many historians and scholars to be the single most important person responsible for ending World War II.
