Inkheart casts Bettany and Fraser

Inkheart.jpgNew Line cinema have bought the rights to bring the childrens fantasy Inkheart to the big screen. The movie to be directed by K-Pax and Skeleton Key director Iain Softley will star Paul Bettany and Brendan Fraser. Here is the scoop from Empire... "It€™s based on Cornelia Funke€™s book about a girl whose father, Mortimer €œMo€ Folchart (Fraser), can bring any fantasy character to life from a book just by reading it aloud. When he€™s dadknapped, the girl has to team up with imaginary and real friends to free him". You know, I really do wish that Christopher Nolan had cast Bettany in The Dark Knight as The Joker. After seeing him as Silas in The Da Vinci Code, he would have done a terrific job. Bettany is such a great actor, I really want to see him get some good roles in the near future and this fantasy flick doesn't sound to bad. source - empire
