The official review embargo does not end for a few days yet, but a number of insiders and members of the press have already been lucky enough to enjoy a screening of Interstellar, and the shower of praise is already turning into a downpour. Film junkie Edgar Wright recently tweeted: Am I allowed to say that 'Interstellar' is incredible yet? and fellow director and cinephile Paul Thomas Anderson has described it as beautiful and f*ck*ng incredible, and advised cinemagoers to brave the lines and watch it in IMAX if at all possible. Aint It Cool News has reported that the early word from a handful of journalists and filmmakers has been absolutely ecstatic, while the verdict from a well-placed source who spoke to Entertainment Weekly and described the film as Spielbergian warmth mixed with Kubrickian braininess is probably exactly what Nolan hoped to hear. This early buzz will almost inevitably be watered down with a smattering of criticism before Interstellar opens its spaceship doors to the public, but it already sounds like youll be getting your moneys worth when you go to see one of 2014s most anticipated films. Could Interstellar be Nolans best yet? Over to you.
I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
