Interstellar: 10 Titbits That Will Get You Even More Excited

1. The Reviews Are (Almost) In

The official review embargo does not end for a few days yet, but a number of insiders and members of the press have already been lucky enough to enjoy a screening of Interstellar, and the shower of praise is already turning into a downpour. Film junkie Edgar Wright recently tweeted: €œAm I allowed to say that 'Interstellar' is incredible yet?€ and fellow director and cinephile Paul Thomas Anderson has described it as €œbeautiful€ and €œf*ck*ng incredible,€ and advised cinemagoers to brave the lines and watch it in IMAX if at all possible. Ain€™t It Cool News has reported that the early word from a handful of journalists and filmmakers €œhas been absolutely ecstatic,€ while the verdict from a well-placed source who spoke to Entertainment Weekly and described the film as €œSpielbergian warmth mixed with Kubrickian braininess€ is probably exactly what Nolan hoped to hear. This early buzz will almost inevitably be watered down with a smattering of criticism before Interstellar opens its spaceship doors to the public, but it already sounds like you€™ll be getting your money€™s worth when you go to see one of 2014€™s most anticipated films. Could Interstellar be Nolan€™s best yet? Over to you.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
