18. Eminem Cameos...And "Comes Out"

The Interview sure doesn't waste any time surprising viewers, for a mere three minutes into the movie, Skylark Tonight presenter Dave Skylark (Franco) is interviewing Eminem regarding some of his controversial song lyrics. Em replies that when he raps about homosexuality, it's not because he's a homophobe, but because he's gay, causing Skylark, producer Aaron (Rogen) and the entire production team to recoil in shock, as Skylark asks him numerous times to confirm his sexual orientation. As Em expresses surprise that nobody figured it out yet and his publicist (played by Jean Ralphio from Parks and Recreation), he hilariously quips, "I've pretty much just been leaving a breadcrumb trail of gayness". One of several amusing TV graphics reads, "Cleaning out his closet: finds himself", as Skylark and Aaron congratulate one another on quite possibly their most historic TV episode yet. Aaron declares, "The real Slim Shady just stood up", and Skylark replies, "This is like Spike Lee just said he's white."
