Iron Man 3: 10 Reasons Tony Stark Is A Terrible Hero

8. He Gave The World Blueprints To A New Weapon

Iron Man 7 Tony Stark didn€™t want to make any more weapons after seeing them used by terrorists. He certainly stops selling them, but through being Iron Man so publically, terrorists all over the world can get a good look at some superior technology. Stark is essentially kicking ass, whilst simultaneously showing them €˜you should do it like this€™. We see the product of this in Iron Man 2. Stark, in the middle of court no less, shows everyone that people are actively trying to copy or build weapons against the Iron Man design. He brushes this off by saying that the others are five or ten years behind getting the technology right, but is this really that far off? If terrorists were only five years away from building a suit capable of supersonic flight whilst fitting it with missiles I don€™t think widespread panic would be too much of an overreaction.
