3. Tony And Harley
Following an attack on Stark's luxury Malibu mansion by Killian's forces, it is left destroyed and Tony is left unconscious in his armour. His armour, however, had already been set co-ordinates for rural Tennessee (to check out a previous scene of Killian's crimes) and JARVIS follows the flight-plan despite the fact that Tony is not awake to navigate. Upon his arrival, his suit and JARVIS are left non-functional and Tony is alone in the wilderness. He makes his way to a small town where he meets Harley - a young boy. Much to his initial chagrin, Tony befriends the boy and his help in finding Tony a place to settle and getting his hands on some key resources are decisive in Tony's progression through the movie. They build a rapport and the relationship allows us to see Stark's human side in more detail. After the initial shock of seeing him, Harley doesn't care about Tony's fame, fortune or genius - to him he's just a guy. But his fascination with Iron Man and the suits allows Tony to get closer to him and utilise him, whilst also genuinely coming to have affection for him. The chemistry between the two actors was great and enabled us to see a side of Stark that we had never before seen.
