8. The Avengers
One major logical leap that fans of the MCU have to look past in the individual films is the fact that since The Avengers joined forces, it's going to make us suspicious that they never resurface during a time of panic, leaving whichever character's film it is to fend the threat off by themselves. Though Shane Black smartly draws attention to this fact, a plausible and satisfying explanation is never really given, making it seem rather daft that after The Mandarin sank Tony's home, Bruce Banner and co. didn't show up to save the day (though Banner
does cameo in the post-credits scene). While it would be a mistake to turn Iron Man 4 into just another Avengers film, wouldn't it be awesome to see a brief appearance from one of the more grounded Avengers characters, like Captain America or Nick Fury? It would serve the dual purpose of delivering more awesome action and keeping the super-group in audience's minds even when the other characters are absent.
