Orlando Bloom was spotted speaking to
Bryan Singer at the Tower Bar Restaurant in Hollywood. They claim they were speaking about the
Superman Returns sequel, but if you ask me they could have been talking about anything, and it's probably just putting 2 and 2 together from Jared. I mean hell, they could have been speaking about Singer's upcoming war movie
Valkyrie for all we know. Well IF they were speaking about Bloom having a role in what we think will be called
The Man of Steel, then it clearly won't be as Superman.
Brandon Routh was perfectly fine in his first outing as both Clark Kent and Superman, and besides he had signed a 3 movie deal to don the red and blue cape. An interesting side note to this news is that Bloom's ex girlfriend is
Kate Bosworth, so could it be that the pair are going to use their former chemistry on screen with Bloom playing a role similar to
James Marsden's last time out? Or is Bloom's role going to be General Zod or some other villain? Or is it just more likely the duo bumped into each other and had lunch? source -
